1. Educational Qualification

  • Candidates must possess a full-time B.E./B.Tech/B.Sc Engineering Graduate degree in the relevant discipline (Electronics, Mechanical, Computer Science, or Electrical) from an AICTE-approved College/University.
  • Minimum Marks: First class (minimum 60% aggregate marks) for General/EWS/OBC (NCL) candidates. Pass class (minimum 50% aggregate marks) is acceptable for SC/ST/PwBD candidates.

2. Age Limit

  • Maximum Age: 25 years for Unreserved/EWS candidates.
  • Age Relaxation: Applicable for reserved categories (OBC-NCL: 3 years, SC/ST: 5 years, PwBD: 10 years).

Selection Process of BEL Probationary Engineer Recruitment 2025

The selection process is a two-stage method designed to shortlist the most suitable candidates:

1. Computer-Based Test (CBT)

  • Weightage: 85%
  • Structure: The exam has a total of 125 objective-based questions (125 marks) to be completed in 120 minutes.
    • Part I: 25 questions on General Aptitude and Reasoning.
    • Part II: 100 questions on Technical subjects of the concerned engineering discipline.
